Drone photography has become one of the most interesting forms of art in the last few years, as the price of drones has dropped and become an increasingly open was of taking video and images from above.
While aerial shots are certainly nothing new, this collection of images has captured places around the globe from directly above, giving the pictures a perfectly straight top-down view.
In some of the images, every day objects and buildings have taken on new forms having been photographed from this angle, while in others the composition creates a lovely piece of art in itself – Reykjavík, Iceland by Willian Justen de Vasconcellos for example, that looks like a living Nordic flag.
