Over the past few months, the eyewear brand Shwood has kept popping up on our radar. After releasing a pair of sunglasses made from the wood of classic Louisville slugger bats and also producing some shades made from stone , Shwood has now sourced yet another of the Earth’s elements for a new collection of sunglasses.
The Fifty/Fifty Titanium Collection is a durable line of shades consisting of the Canby, Francis, and Govy 2 models. Shwood’s latest eyewear is made of vacuum-plated, high-grade titanium cut from a single sheet for optimal strength. And if your ears are too delicate for cold metal, Shwood threw some of its signature wood into this new line, featuring the noble timber on the legs of the sunglasses, which come in both light and dark tones. You can also select your choice of lenses, which are offered in gray and something called “G15 polarized” (don’t pretend that you’ve heard of it before).
With Shwood featuring all of these different materials, we can’t help but wonder just what it will come out with next. Adamantium?
