Meydan Chairman Saeed Al Tayer has announced plans for a new development titled Meydan One. The scheme will feature a skyscraper, a new mall, a sports facility, dancing fountains to rival Emaar’s, a beach, a civic plaza, a 100-berth marina, and the world’s largest indoor ski slope. The world’s longest indoor ski slope at 1.2 kilometers.
Current record holder: Bottrop/Germany at 640 meters.
The world’s biggest dancing fountain at 420 meters long.
Current record holder: The Dubai Fountain at 275 meters.
The world’s tallest residential tower.
Current record holder: The World One in India under construction and expected to reach 442 meters.
The world’s highest 360-degree observation deck at 655 meters.
Current record holder: Burj Khalifa at 555 meters.
