Lamborghini Finds a New Home in Dubai

Lamborghini has made a new home for itself in Dubai by opening the doors to the Middle East’s first Collezione Automobili Lamborghini store this past weekend at The Dubai Mall. Saudi Arabia’s Al Rasheed Group is behind the Italian brand’s debut into the region and the company’s CEO, Abdulaziz Al Rasheed, was on hand at the grand opening to share his insight.

“The philosophy behind the Automobili Lamborghini fashion line is synonymous with the Italian brand and the traits of the Lamborghini super sports cars—pure, cutting edge, and visionary,” said Al Rasheed. “The location of our flagship store in the iconic Dubai Mall is fitting for one of Italy’s most prestigious and internationally recognized brands.” A fashion show featuring the Automobili Lamborghini Fall 2014 collection also took place at the event.

So gents, rather than having to fork over your lifesavings for an Aventador, now you can carry the “Fighting Bull” on your back; or anywhere else you like since the store sports a full clothing and accessories line for the auto-obsessed.

The head of Collezione Automobili Lamborghini, Boris Puddu, from Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy, stressed this point at the opening, saying, “Lamborghini owners and enthusiasts in the UAE can now access clothing and accessories that reflect the Lamborghini lifestyle and allow them to express their passion for the brand and its heritage.”

Eventually, you won’t have to be in Dubai to take part in the heritage that all began by a desire to prove Enzo Ferrari a dud, as the brand hopes to expand its stores throughout the Middle East in the coming years.
