Marcus Jordan, son of business mogul and one of the best basketball players of all time Michael Jordan, will pay homage to his father by opening what he is hoping will be the ultimate sneaker store, called The Trophy Room. Marcus Jordan released a teaser video on YouTube promoting the store opening that is set to take place in Spring 2016 in a yet to be disclosed location (however chances are it will be in NYC or Chicago).
The Trophy Room is inspired by an actual trophy room at Michael Jordan’s Chicago residence where Marcus grew up. The Trophy Room will feature the Jordan brand shoes, Nike gear, and an in-house line alongside family photos and home videos along with memorabilia spanning Jordan’s career. Here’s one apple that didn’t fall far from the tree.
