From the looks of Haider Ackermann’s Fall 2014 collection, it appears that the designer has been traveling. We’re thinking India, Vietnam, or perhaps even Andalucía.
Rife with polished fabrics, adventurous prints, ethnic silhouettes, and sophisticated color blockings, the collection evokes a luxe/nomadic/bourgeois vibe. This Montatlo coat, for example, elegantly blends luxury and artistic folklore.
This khaki-brown coat is made from a silk and cotton-blend and features black abstract embroidery and minimal button fastenings, which emphasize the calf-length silhouette. Now, we try not to pick favorites, but after laying eyes on this luxurious coat, we’ll have to make an exception.
