Meet the man behind the golden Paco Rabanne bottle: Christophe Raynaud, a perfumer, dreamer, family man, and a sucker for music, art, and Françoise Hardy. Raynaud began his perfumery studies in Versailles in 1990 and today develops his fragrances with poetic panache. Take the new fragrance by Carolina Herrera, CH Men Privé, whereby Raynaud pushes the fusion of “perfume making” and “joie de vivre” one step further.
“I wanted to capture the very best of elegance together with the deepest masculinity and the most irresistible seduction in one single fragrance. As a result, Ch Men Privé concentrates three intense emotions into a real strong character scent,” boasted Raynaud. The perfume carries notes of precious woods, leather, tonka bean, and benzoin.
