Bows, ruffles, lace, and pink—all are recurring themes for Spring ’16 menswear, a season where the lines between gender are continually being blurred. We also can’t help but notice the growing number of guys stomping down the catwalk with strands that rival their female counterparts. To be sure, these aren’t the long, flowing locks of romance novels past, but a slightly more rugged, just-rolled-out-of-bed interpretation (save for a sleek, shoulder-grazing ponytail on Tony Thornburg at Etro). And there’s undoubtedly something intrinsically sexy about a dude with long hair—likely because our fathers would hate it and that makes it all the more appealing. Here, we track the top Rapunzel-like runway turns thus far.
