On the eve of the Dubai International Motor show, luxury auto brand Cadillac unveiled its latest state-of-the-art model: the original 2017 Cadillac XT5. The global launch took place at a private event at the Dubai Design District (d3) on Monday night. American fashion brand Public School also debuted its capsule collection at the event to a select audience.
When it comes to design-led events, d3 has previously hosted Meet d3, Fashion Forward, and Dubai Design Week, and will host Sole DXB later this month. “Being chosen as the global venue to launch an international motor brand for the first time is a very proud moment for d3,” said Mohammad Saeed Al Shehhi, the District’s chief operating officer. “This synergy of design and technology is the epitome of our district and another step in our journey to becoming an international design destination.”
