In its 101st year of production, Aston Martin unveiled its new special edition at the Geneva International Motor Show and it promises to harness the sports ethos of the iconic British brand. This new model is the latest heir in the line up of successful cars that have torn up the track at the Nürburgring track in Germany.
The 2015 V8 Vantage N430 is powered by an impressive V8, 4.7 liter, 430 horsepower engine, which also powers the GTE and GT4 race cars. What does this mean for you speed freaks? It accelerates from 0-100 kilometers per hour in 4.6 seconds and tops out at around 300 km/hr. And the standard 6-speed gearbox will either satisfy your needs, or incite you to step out of your comfort zone and shift into a close-ratio seven-speed Sportshift II, all the while firmly cradled by the carbon fiber and Kevlar seats.
In any case, the stunning look of the new Aston Martin kept us transfixed at this year’s show.
