If there was anything wanting from Ford’s Raptor SVT pickup, it would be that it wasn’t an SUV.
After Hennessey got its hands on the Raptor, however, it decided to get rid of the flatbed for a covered section that added a third set of seats, transforming the pickup into an 8-seater SUV. In typical Hennessey fashion (“Making fast cars faster”—poetic, no?), it also swapped out the tires and wheels for a larger set, and fitted it with performance Brembo brakes, a new tailored interior, LED upgrades, and of course, its signature—a monstrous 600-horsepower supercharged engine capable of going from 0-100 km/hr in 5.9 seconds. A noteworthy feat considering the 600-pounds of additional weight.
There are, of course, smaller engine options, but if you plan to impress the missus and keep the kids quiet, we recommend the 600 horsepower version.
Fitting to its name, Hennessey transformed this dinosaur into a true predator.
