Gathering the best international riders from across the globe, the 2015 Longines Global Champions Tour ended in Doha last weekend following stops in Miami, Shanghai, Paris, London, and Rome. The finale, held in Doha for the seventh time now, saw Portuguese rider Luciana Diniz speed to victory on her trusty steed, Fit For Fun. She was rewarded with an elegant Longines watch by the president of the Swiss brand, Walter von Känel.
Scott Brash from the UK, who came in second, and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson from Sweden, who secured the third position, also received Longines watches. If you’re pondering why you’re boss still hasn’t gifted you a luxury timepiece for a job well done, perhaps it’s due time to take up horse-racing.
