Lexus is dangling the proverbial carrot in front of us with this recently released teaser photo of the soon to be revealed IS 25 Anniversario.
The anniversary special edition model celebrates Lexus’ 25 years of continually knocking on the heels of the dominant European luxury manufacturers. While little can be confirmed about the Anniversario model until its debut at the Madrid Auto Show on May 20th, we can probably expect a few tweaks to the IS 350’s 3.5-liter V6 engine, which already pushes 306-horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque.
Design-wise, there will also probably be the standard badges with the Anniversario insignia branded to the car. Yet all of this remains as speculation as the 25-year anniversary model won’t be unveiled until Tuesday. While we expect a significant price increase seeing as there will only be 25 models made, hopefully the upgrades will make it worth the wait—and the price.
