Weekend warriors and thrill-seekers of the region should strap on their new GoPro Hero4 and make their way by air, sea, or land to The Spearo Extreme Sports Expo 2014. The Skydive Dubai, on the Palm Island Drop Zone, has been aptly chosen as the venue for the event being held from October 9th to 11th. Hosted by the Middle East freediving and spearfishing magazine, Spearo, the expo will showcase the latest products and services in extreme sports as well as the gear required to shake off the dust of our sedentary lives.
The Spearo Expo will feature (brace yourselves) kite surfing, wind surfing, stand-up paddle boards, surfing, skydiving, kayaking, jet-skiing, paragliding, spearfishing, freediving, sailing, paramotor, sports fishing charters, rock climbing, mountaineering, deep water soloing, motocross, mountain biking, super bikes, and hang gliding. This, by the way, is a shortened list.
Should you prefer to live vicariously through the more adventurous types, the expo will also have pros showing off their BMX skills (4), ATV stunts, paramotor air shows, and a special Guinness World Record attempt.
