The Tag Heuer Meridiist Infinite phone gets its name from the invisible photovoltaic cells stored beneath the sapphire crystal screen. Those invisible cells work as solar panels under natural and artificial light and continue to maintain the phone’s charge while not in use. Beyond this technological feat, the Infinite phone’s sapphire crystal screen is guaranteed not to be scratched while rubbing up against your keys, while the rest of the phone is encased in grade 5 titanium, carbon fiber, and rubber inserts.
Back in 1911, Tag Heuer produced its first chronograph, and in keeping with this fateful year, the horological masters will only be making 1,911 versions of the infinite phone. And while you might be able to line-up early to get your hands on the latest iPhone, chances are that you’ll have a harder time getting one of Tag’s infinite phones.
