Designed and made in Italy, the Ciclotte exercise bike is a contemporary take on the unicycle of the 1800s. The designers spared no effort to show just how a stationary unicycle can be transformed into a modern machine through extensive research in ergonomics and a design approach that rejects all superfluous elements and reduces the bike to a large wheel and two horns for handle bars.
The Ciclotte also comes fitted with a touch screen display to allow you to surf the web and watch films, as well as follow specific paths and trails—all of which can generally help to distract you from the fact that you’re pedaling as hard as you can but not actually going anywhere.
Despite its simple form, the Ciclotte comes in different versatile models: the Marine version, fitted with components resistant to humidity and sea salt for those days when you feel like you have to go for a ride but you’re out on your yacht; the comfort model, with heightened elasticity; and lastly the waterproofed off-roading model. And if these alone weren’t enough, the designers also developed special edition models: one dedicated to Tonino Lamborghini and the other adorned with Swarovski zirconia and gemstones.
