From the king of rap to the queen of pop, some of the world’s most popular stars will soon make their way down to the UAE for next-level concerts. Mark your calendars as UAE’s music renaissance is just about to begin.

The ultimate electronic dance music festival, BAO, is gearing up to get Dubai swaying to its incredible tracks on October 4. The annual event has previously seen top DJs Martin Garrix, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Afrojack, Don Diablo, and R3hab headline the festival. The first massive lead for BAO Fest has been announced, and it’s superstar DJ and industry veteran Steve Aoki. Last month, the renowned celebrity performed at Saudi Arabia’s biggest music festival, and now he is making his way to Dubai’s Meydan Grandstand for another exciting event. The event promises to announce more acts in the coming weeks, but tickets are available online from AED 230 for early bird general admission and AED 1,250 for premium, inclusive of access to the best viewing area as well as unlimited food and beverages.

Rita Ora, Disclosure, and RÜFÜS DU SOL for Wake Up Call

Next up is Dubai’s favorite Rita Ora. The pop singer, who recently filmed her latest video in the city’s hottest spots, will be headlining the international festival Wake Up Call. The three-day event will also feature a DJ set by dance music duo Disclosure as well as Australian house music group RÜFÜS DU SOL and is set to place at W Dubai – The Palm from Thursday 10 October to Saturday 12 October. Guests can witness the one-of-a-kind festival with either a two-day pass for AED 295, an access pass with Friday brunch at the WET Deck for AED 445, or an all-inclusive pass for entry to every event and unlimited beverages plus brunch for AED 990.

Eminem’s Kamikaze Tour 

Rap legend Eminem is making his way to Abu Dhabi for a massive show at Yas Island’s Du Arena on Friday, October 25. The Not Afraid singer is returning to the city after seven years – but this time with a bigger, and better playlist. The concert is part of Eminem’s Kamikaze tour, and while the best seats in the house are sold out, music lovers can still buy tickets ranging from AED395 to AED1,295.

Passenger at the Dubai Opera 

Michael Rosenberg, better known by his stage name Passenger, will be performing live at the Dubai Opera on 20 November. The multi-award-winning, platinum-selling singer-songwriter received significant recognition after his hit song Let Her Go, which gained 2.5 billion views on YouTube, as well as a billion streams on Spotify. The Passenger has released more than ten studio records, and he will be performing live in the radiant center of culture and arts, the Opera. Tickets are priced from AED195 onwards.

The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is noted as one of UAE’s most celebrated events. The secret behind the success is mostly because of the biggest names that grace the F1 event, including Sam Smith, the Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, and Calvin Harris.
