Playing Gran Turismo 7 is about to get a lot stylish with Dior’s collaboration with the video game. In the PlayStation game’s first partnership with a fashion brand,  Kim Jones, the artistic director for menswear at Dior has designed subtle yet cutting-edge gear “skins” for the game, along with a customized vintage car, De Tomaso Mangusta. This inaugural virtual capsule will be accessible on August 25.

Magnifying the characteristic hallmark of the fashion house, the virtual play gear consists of a yellow and gray jumpsuit, matching gloves as well as reinterpreted Diorizon shoes paired with a blue and gray helmet. The different articles of simulated apparel are also wreathed with Dior Oblique motifs, the CD Diamond initials along with a “Christian Dior Atelier Avenue Montaigne” patch.

The design is further perfected with a final touch of the number 47 that appears on the driver’s silhouette and the race car. The number stands witness and pays tribute to the year 1947, which was the date of Christian Dior’s pioneering fashion show that established and sealed the success of the new look and personality of the brand.
