Table football – or foosball, as some call it – has never been something that has been touched by the hand of luxury brands, but French fashion house Hermès has now created what is perhaps the most high-end table ever.
If you’ve got the cash to spare and are looking for something to put in your games room then this really is a beautiful piece of work, and although some may consider it more of an art piece than practical, it has been designed for use.
The Hermes football table in maple and swift calfskin and is created to regulation height and depth, with all the components working smoothly. But in something of a strange decision, instead of football players on the rods, they’ve gone with jockeys. (No, us neither).
The handles are also covered in swift calfskin (for maximum grip and comfort) and even the pitch itself has been created in leather, showing off the brand’s high-end upholstery, saddle stitching and polishing.
At $68,300 though, it’s a hefty price for table football, but if price is not an issue this is a lovely piece of work.
And remember, no spinning…
