There was a moment there when we would be forgiven for thinking that live festivals were a thing of the past. But PaRus is bucking that by hosting a four-day bash, aligned with Covid-19 safety guidelines, to keep music and MMA heads safe but satisfied.
The festival will take place in Dubai and will see live performances from a whole host of international acts, headlined by PaRus. The music festival will be spread across three days then organizers have pulled a blinder by hosting another day that will involve an incredible MMA showdown.
The first large-scale music festival to come to the Middle East post-lockdown, PaRus Music Festival will take place in the Events Arena at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, from November 3 to 5.
This open-air arrangement means that festival-goers can enjoy the perfect setting while still feeling safe amid the current Covid-19 climate. Day one will play host to Russian musicians Leonid Agutin, Stas Mihaylov, and Garik Sukachev.
Day two’s lineup will see Philipp Kirkorov and Olya Polyakova take to the stage with a special audio-visual performance new to the region.
Day three’s musical lineup is somewhat charming and includes Turetsky Choir art group and international cello virtuoso Luka Sulic, of the 2Cellos to dazzle the audience with his skills.<
Day four will see the space transformed into an impressive sports arena to play host to none other than a PaRus Fight Championship Rock’N’Fight MMA showdown. Curveball, much?
The November 7 ticket will feature nine fights, hosting some of the world’s best MMA fighters from the USA, Russia, UK, Brazil, Egypt, Italy, Lebanon, Belarus and Afghanistan. Between bouts, Paul Ya and Palladium Rock Band from Europe will keep you entertained with a spectacular music and light show. Doors will open from 7.45pm, with the main bout taking place between Sergei Khartitonov from Russia and Oli Thompson from the UK.
