Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is coming to theaters this December, and former Vogue Man cover star Tamer Hosny is set to voice the classic superhero movie’s main character, Peter Parker, in the Arabic version of the film. The Egyptian singer’s voice will feature alongside a number of stars from the Arab world, including Mohamed Hany. The announcement comes just weeks after the passing of Stan Lee, the American writer and publisher of Marvel Comics.
Hosny isn’t the only past Vogue Arabia cover star to contribute to the hotly-anticipated, upcoming film. Nicki Minaj, who graced Vogue Arabia’s September 2018 issue, laid down some verses for the film’s soundtrack.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse stars American actor Shameik Moore in the lead role of Miles Morales who is one of many Spider-Men. The cast also includes Hailee Steinfeld, Mahershala Ali, Jake Johnson, and Liev Schreiber, among many others. The computer-animated movie is a joint production by Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation in association with Marvel.
