Travis Scott has been announced as the headlining act of Wireless Festival, the European event making its way to the Middle East for the first time. Taking place on Yas Island’s Etihad Park, Abu Dhabi on March 11, 2023, the festival promises more than 13 live performances across multiple stages, and exciting activations.

American rapper Scott is a diamond-certified eight-time Grammy Award-nominated artist and the founder of his own record label, Cactus Jack. The 31-year-old artist also has a combined total of 40 billion streams as well as many gold, platinum, and multiplatinum certifications around the globe. Taking the stage before Scott is another global name, Lil Uzi Vert, the American rapper, singer, and songwriter known for a discography of melodic emo trap songs, and hits like “Just Wanna Rock”, “20 Min”, and “Money Longer”.

The lineup of international and regional acts also includes Egyptian trap artist Wegz, Ghanaian singer and rapper Black Sherif, Iraqi-Canadian Ali Gatie, Indian singer and rapper King, Indian rapper Divine, and Pakistani hip-hop duo Young Stunners. More artists are yet to be announced.

Wireless made its debut in London in 2005 and has become a stand-out in the international festival circuit and a fitting highlight of Abu Dhabi’s growing music scene. Tickets for the festival go on sale Friday, January 13, on Ticketmaster.ae.
