Berluti is Revving Up Dubai With This Biker-Themed Exhibition

Motorbikes have long had a relationship with icons: Marlon Brando, James Dean, Steve McQueen, and now, Berluti. The luxury French fashion house, renowned for its leather craftsmanship, is showcasing a motorcycle-themed collection of ready-to-wear leather goods at The Dubai Mall’s new Fashion Avenue.

Aptly named ‘Off The Road’, the exhibition will also feature some of the brand’s iconic pieces along with a bespoke, custom-made Triumph motorcycle. With a long tradition of personalization that has seen the Berluti aesthetic applied to everything from games to furniture, the brand has collaborated with Mecatwin, a Parisian custom shop specializing in Triumphs. The one-off motorbike takes all the technical aspects of the iconic Bonneville T120, and reworks them into a unique and artisanal piece.

Oozing refined, biker-cool chicness, the exclusive Fall capsule features eight Vitello Fiore leather pieces highlighting sleek textures, graphic lines, and a feeling of safety and comfort without compromising on style. The quilted weekend bag is a stand-out as the perfect road tripper’s companion, while the Norwegian construction boots are infused with a rugged yet traditional feel.

And, of course, no biking ensemble would be complete without a demure safety helmet; designed in collaboration with Veldt, this über-light helmet combines a carbon fiber shell with a glossy finish, sections of which have been accented in Venezia leather.

The Dubai Mall will be hosting the exhibition from September 24 to October 10, as one of three destinations chosen to display the pieces along with New York and Paris.
