With the 61st edition of the Grammy awards and the 2019 British Academy Film Awards both taking place on Sunday evening, there was no shortage of style inspo courtesy of some of the planet’s best-dressed men from the film and music industries, who descended upon Los Angeles’s Staples Center and the Royal Albert Hall in London.
At the BAFTAs 2019, the Duke of Cambridge Prince William arrived to the red carpet looking every bit of royalty in a black Alexander McQueen tuxedo complete with a bowtie. Meanwhile, Egyptian-American actor Rami Malek scooped up the “Best Actor” award for his role in Bohemian Rhapsody wearing a sleek, Louis Vuitton suit, which he offset with a black dress shirt and matching bowtie. Elsewhere, Timothée Chalamet, who never fails when it comes to the red carpet, did it again wearing a leopard print metallic blazer and shirt combo, worn with black, checkered trousers and combat boots all from Haider Ackermann.
Over in Los Angeles, the Grammys 2019 red carpet saw plenty of dapper tuxedos and sleek, tailored suiting. Wearing an expertly-tailored tux from Hedi Slimane’s Celine, Mark Ronson looked sharp as ever. Saint Laurent brand ambassador Travis Scott opted for a sleek, black suit from the Parisian label, while Alex Rodriguez chose a bold, colorful blazer from Tom Ford, which he elevated with a pair of black trousers, a white button up, and a black bowtie. But perhaps, our favorite fashion moment of the night came from a Berlutti-clad Ricky Martin. The singer stepped out on the red carpet with his 10-year-old son Matteo, who was dressed in a biker jacket from Balmain.
