Venice isn’t the only film festival that we’re treated to at the end of the summer. Just as the Italian movie extravaganza closed, the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) kicked off, keeping the red-carpet action going ahead of the start of awards season. The 43rd edition of the annual Canadian film festival will run until September 16, showcasing more than 300 features, short films, documentaries, and world premieres in that time.
