Players of the Juventus Football Club are set to be dressed in some of the finest threads as Loro Piana partners with the team. The Italian luxury fabric and clothing company, known for its vicuña pieces, shares with Juventus its birthplace of Piedmont.

The collaboration also marks Loro Piana’s first foray into the football world, after becoming the apparel partner of the Italian show-jumping team at the World Equestrian Games 2014, and the official outfitter of the European Ryder Cup players. Now turning to Juventus, the LVMH-owned house has designed two outfits for the athletes. First, a classic kummel-colored long-sleeved cotton polo shirt with cotton trousers for the earlier and warmer part of the season. The second look created for the cooler part of the season will see the polo replaced by Loro Piana’s signature cotton André shirt, a cardigan in superfine Wish® wool, and a lined sweater jacket in mélange-effect cashmere/silk jersey.

Juventus’ coach Massimiliano Allegri is also included in this collaboration with Loro Piana creating a custom-tailored suit for him. Dubbed the classic “Pier Luigi Loro Piana,” the suit is made of innovative Tasmania 170’s woolm with extraordinary thermal-regulation, breathability, softness and natural stretch.

The team members have started wearing the pieces from the first day of the 2021/22 Serie A season. In keeping with Loro Piana’s state-of-the-art techniques, the looks are unique in terms of materials, manufacture and innovation and aim to offer an ideal mix of style, elegance, and comfort.
