The 2024 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will mark seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton’s last race for the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team.
The countdown to the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2024 (December 5-8) is on, with fans in the UAE and beyond looking forward to one of the most exciting races on the motorsports calendar. Seeing as the race is the final one for the year, it means it will be the last time fans will see Lewis Hamilton driving for the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team, per the departure announced earlier this year. Hamilton has seven World Driver Championships under his belt and has won six of them with the British-based team, making the end of this 11-year partnership that much more significant. From 2025 onwards, the 39-year-old is set to race for Scuderia Ferrari HP alongside Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc, kicking off an exciting new journey in his career.

Amid the changes, a constant is sure to be Hamilton’s style, which has earned a fan base of its own as the driver continues to arrive at the paddock dressed in spectacular outfits. Known for his impeccable fashion sense and love for the sartorial world, Hamilton is a champion for highlighting emerging designers, while also experimenting with extraordinary designs by luxury brands. From a blue Burberry kilt in 2021 to a Swarovski quilted jacket by Quebec streetwear brand 3.Paradis this year, Hamilton has redefined fashion in the world of sports by expressing himself through clothes and turning the paddock into his very own runway.

Alongside representing the French fashion house’s menswear arm, Hamilton will collaborate with creative director Kim Jones on an eco-friendly collection as a guest designer.
Currently witnessing an incredible last year with Mercedes, which has earned him two wins so far, it’s safe to say that Hamilton will see 2024 off in style, making his upcoming Abu Dhabi Grand Prix looks worth keeping an eye out for.
