MET Gala 2018: The Best Dressed Men

Yesterday was the first Monday of May, which means on thing –Anna Wintour hosted her annual MET Gala. Some of the world’s finest (and richest) A-listers, designers and models walked the red carpet for the famous event, and this year the men didn’t disappoint on the style front.

The theme for Costume Institute fundraiser, which was co-chaired by Anna Wintour, Rihanna, Amal Clooney, and Donatella Versace, was Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination… and, boy, did the stars use their imagination.

While many of the male guests opted for the standard black tuxedo, yes, we’re looking at you Idris Elba and Justin Theroux, most had fun with the imaginative theme, raising the fashion bar for next year’s event.  So who dressed the best? For Jared Leto and Chadwick Boseman, the two of most elegant men in the entertainment industry, there was no playing wall flower. Also, embracing the theme was trio Migos whose dazzling, crystal-embellished suits meant they had to keep their sunglasses on indoors.  Trevor Noah, Donald GloverNick Jonas and Andrew Garfield offered a more muted approach to the dress code but nevertheless did so in attention-grabbing tuxedoes.
