Off-White and Mr Porter have joined forces on an exclusive capsule collection, entitled “Modern Office”. The not-yet-released offering will boast 44-pieces of linen trousers, canvas jackets, and t-shirts, in addition to shoes and a number of accessories, making it the Virgil Abloh-led fashion house’s biggest collaboration to date. The full range of products will be available for purchase on the menswear E-commerce platform on January 21.

The collaboration is a strategic one for Mr Porter, which is known for providing a luxurious shopping experience. According to the online platform’s buying director, the collaboration with Abloh’s Off-White is to appeal to millennial consumers — those born between the years 1983 and 2000 boast one of the highest spending powers compared to previous generations.

Virgil Abloh’s list of designer collaborations is endless. The newly-minted artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s menswear has previously teamed up with the likes of Nike, Levi’s, Sunglasses Hut, and even Ikea. “I dispel the sort of idea that there is a perfect amount [of collaborations] or restraint is the best way forward,” said Abloh in conversation with Business of Fashion. “The amount of collaborations should near the amount of relationships that I have with either brands or people,” he stated about choosing his partnerships.
