Puma and Danish luxe streetwear brand, Han Kjøbenhavn, have reunited for SS18 with a new look for the Scandinavian-inspired collaboration.
Under the direction of founder and creative director Jannik Davidsen, the all-new Puma x Kjøbenhavn collection – according to the brand – “takes on a new deconstructed corporate identity” and features pin stripes and photocopy inspired graphics.
Puma and Han Kjøbenhavn Collaborated to Create These Sportswear Classics
Founded in May 2008 in Denmark, Han Kjøbenhavn centers around the foundations of Danish design. Simple shapes and always functional the collection draws design cues from Danish culture, vintage workwear and newspaper archives combined with a deconstructed, take on Scandinavian Style.
Puma and Han Kjøbenhavn placed the focus on evolving both Puma archive silhouettes as well as new styles in an attempt to mix comfort, functionality and high-end fashion. It’s where style is at generally these days.
Puma Breakdance Cities Collection Launches in the GCC
In addition to reworked sneakers, there’s also a pair of pin-stripe trousers that have been given a streetwear interpretation. The collection is available in all Puma stores across the GCC from 24 March.
The New Puma x Manhattan Portage Collection
The following are also in the collection, but are not going to be released in this region – which seems like an oversight, especially in the case of the sandals – but you can get online and track them down that way if they’re your type of thing.
