The Golden Globes 2019 kicked off on Sunday night, heralding the start of the annual awards season calendar. The 76th edition of the ceremony brought together droves of actors, filmmakers, and industry insiders who came together to celebrate their fellow stars of the big and small screens. When it came to red carpet style, just like their female counterparts, the men did not disappoint with their sartorial choices. Best Actor nominee Timothée Chalamet arrived to The Beverly Hilton arm-in-arm with his mother wearing a sequined harness overtop a black dress shirt and trousers from Virgil Abloh’s first collection as the newly-minted artistic director of Louis Vuitton. Elsewhere, Bradley Cooper stood out in a head-to-toe white Gucci suit, which he paired with a black bowtie and dress shoes. Meanwhile, Mahershala Ali accepted his first Golden Globe, the Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture award, looking sharp in a black Etro suit, which he accessorized with a blue scarf around his shoulders. But perhaps, our favorite look of the evening was Best Actor winner Rami Malek, who looked sharp wearing a sleek Givenchy tuxedo.
