The 2018 Venice Film Festival kicked off in Italy’s Palazzo del Cinema di Venezia last week, bringing with it droves of actors, directors, and singers dressed in their finest threads. Hailed as one of the world’s most stylish men, Ryan Gosling brought his A-game in a monochromatic tux from Gucci to promote his new film, First Man, in which he portrays Neil Armstrong. White suits also found a fan in Valentino creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli, who offset his all-white tux with a black tie and matching dress shoes at the Suspira screening.
Meanwhile, Bradley Cooper stepped out on the A Star is Born red carpet, arm-in-arm with co-star Lady Gaga, looking dapper in a black suit, equipped with a bowtie. Elsewhere, Taylor Swift’s flame, British actor Joe Alwyn, served major James Bond vibes at the premiere of his new movie, The Favourite, wearing a black tuxedo paired with a crisp, white shirt and a flat bowtie, which he accessorized with pointed, heeled shoes. Also in attendance at the prestigious film festival was Franco-Algerian rapper Sofiane Zermani, who looked sleek after trading in his signature bomber jackets and tracksuits in lieu of a more formal get-up for the Freres Ennemis” premiere.
