Saint Laurent designer Anthony Vaccarello brings a mix of sharp tailoring and edge to the Winter 2017 men’s collection.
Channeling utilitarian, military and street style influences, Saint Laurent’s latest men’s collection presents a range of pieces that can be worn dressed-up or down in a contrast between tailored and nonchalant.
From reinterpretations of the classic four-pocket motorcycle jacket – now in a slimmer, fitted cut – to crossover belted military-style trousers in black gabardine or anthracite grey, it takes formal pieces and loosens them up.
The black wool crewneck “S.L Love” patch sweater with ribbed trims and jean jacket in cognac suede show a minimal casual luxury, while pieces like the turtleneck sweater in mohair and the Yves collar shirt in black take classic French styling and present it in a relaxed, laissez-faire and minimal way.
You can take a look at the film (which will be presented at the brand’s next runway show in January) and images on Instagram and on YouTube and explore Vogue Arabia’s exclusive photoshoot of the collection.
YSL online now ships to the UAE.
