The Louis Vuitton Men’s show is one of the hottest tickets on the Paris Fashion Week Menswear schedule for 2019 – and you can watch all the catwalk action, right as it happens. The Parisian maison will present its latest menswear collection at 2:30pm tonight in Paris (5:30 UAE/4:30 KSA), as Virgil Abloh debuts his second and hotly-anticipated collection for the storied heritage house. And we’re live-streaming it right here.

Back in December, Abloh announced that his second offering as artistic director of Louis Vuitton men’s would be inspired by Michael Jackson. Earlier this week, invites for the runway show went out, and instead of a traditional piece of paper with the show’s time, date, and venue, the designer chose to send out a single, white embellished glove inscribed with the address at the Jardin des Tuilerie as well a text that read “There’s only one,” which is part of a poem written by Abloh.

Speaking to Interview magazine last month, when asked about his next step at Louis Vuitton, Abloh explained “My next Louis Vuitton collection is going to be based on Michael Jackson, and when I have Michael singing in the background, it’s a different type of shirt, it’s a different kind of boot, it’s a different fit of pants. Music is key.”

The founder of haute streetwear label Off-White was named the artistic director of Louis Vuitton Menswear in March 2018. In a game of fashion musical chairs, he succeeded Kim Jones who went on to join Dior Homme as its new artistic director, replacing Kris Van Assche.

For his debut, 56-piece collection for the storied heritage house, the Chicago native sent out a lineup of ethnically-diverse models (with some familiar faces like Kid Cudi, Playboy Carti, and Dev Hynes) who took to a rainbow-painted catwalk meant to convey a message of inclusivity. Show notes included an infographic of the widespread birthplaces of the cast. The show was attended by longtime friends, including Kanye West, Kim Kardashian West, Bella Hadid, and Rihanna, and A$AP Rocky, who most likely will all make an appearance at this afternoon’s showcase.

The Louis Vuitton Fall 2019 Men’s fashion show will start today at 2:30pm Paris time (5:30pm UAE/4:30pm KSA).
