Abu Dhabi has announced it will add another incredible attraction offering to its already impressive locker as it is on track to open the ‘world’s largest snow park’ later this year. Dubai has Ski Dubai, now Abu Dhabi will have an enchanted-forest themed park dubbed Snow Abu Dhabi. And the clue is in the name – this will be a park, filled with snow, in the desert.
The development is in conjunction with the USD 1.2 billion Reem Mall project, on Reem Island. Construction is making good progress and both attractions are hoped to be opening their doors around the same time in the final quarter of this year.
Sprawling across an impressive 125,000 sqft, the site has been developed into various distinctively themed whimsical zones to capture the imagination. With names such as Snowflake Garden, Crystal Carousel, Blizzards’ Bazaar, and Flurries’ Mountain these are already conjuring up a veritable winter wonderland.
