Burberry recently took a temporary step out of fashion and to bring an edge to its classical backdrop by collaborating with DAB motors. Curated by Riccardo Tisci, the chief creative officer of Burberry, the November release of this year’s B-series featured a limited-edition electric motorcycle named the Concept-E RS Burberry Edition. The motorcycle is lined with a body of luxury, a core of sustainability, and is blessed with French-British DNA.
The collaboration prides itself on being the first street-legal version of the motorcycle manufacturer’s electric concept. The motorcycle spotlights that signature Burberry luxury in its bodywork, which also graciously carries the brand logo and hand-stitched monogram saddle in fine Burberry leather. Available in two color-ways, the handlebars are customizable and can be purchased via DAB motors.
The electric motorcycle was built, engineered, and handcrafted entirely from scratch at DAB in Bayonne, France, using industry-leading aeronautical manufacturing for a longer lifeline. Following a sustainable model, the conscious parts that rely on an electric power source generate less waste. The Concept-E RS Burberry Edition motorcycle was built by DAB Motors’ best craftsmen to produces less waste, make virtually no noise, and leave behind no smell, therefore creating a smaller carbon footprint on the planet.
