Dubai, renowned for its architectural marvels, has added another feather to its cap with the unveiling of the highest running track on a building, perched on top  of the 1 Residences tower. The Guinness World Records title was clinched by the esteemed real estate development and management company, Wasl, for their groundbreaking achievement.

Located on the 43rd floor of the 1 Residences, the Sky Track stands as a testament to Dubai’s dedication to fostering a culture of wellness and vitality. Serving as a beacon of health-conscious living, this 335m rooftop track, positioned an awe-inspiring 157m above ground, promises fitness enthusiasts a panoramic workout experience unlike any other.

Within this lofty haven, walkers and joggers are treated to breathtaking vistas of Dubai’s iconic landmarks, including Burj Khalifa, Zabeel Park, Dubai Frame, Sheikh Zayed Road, old Dubai, and the Arabian Gulf. As the global fitness industry continues to surge, Dubai’s progressive initiatives, such as the acclaimed 30-day Dubai Fitness Challenge, have kick-started an enthusiasm in residents towards embracing a wholesome lifestyle.

Acknowledging this societal shift, Wasl has seamlessly integrated the pursuit of well-being into the very fabric of the 1 Residences project, crafting not just a mere running track, but a symbol of Dubai’s ceaseless determination to aspire for the extraordinary. Hesham Al Qassim, CEO of Wasl, also expressed his elation, highlighting the profound impact that the Sky Track will have on enhancing the daily lives of the tower’s residents.

In the words of Talal Omar, Vice President of MENA and Turkey at Guinness World Records, the track’s inception is not just a triumph of architectural brilliance, but also a testament to human ambition.
