After a brief break, Lebanese nightspot Sky 2.0 will open its doors once again tonight for its second season with a three-day opening weekend. During its first season, Sky 2.0 played host to the glitz and glamour of an exclusive, star-studded party thrown in celebration of Vogue Arabia’s second anniversary.
Perched right in the centre of Dubai’s creative district, Sky 2.0 come back with a bang with its all new night ‘DSTRKT Wednesday’. Presented by Dubai’s very own Dany Neville, his group of insider friends, and international dancers, the trending venue promises to be the ultimate place to be for partygoers.
If you can’t make it tonight, Sky 2.0 is also bringing its ‘Signature Night’ back on Thursdays, where guests can enjoy commercial, house and RnB tunes. Meanwhile, on Friday evenings, the super-sized party arena will host a ‘BoomBox’ night, getting the crowd dancing to RnB, Pop, and some of the best hits of all time.
The outdoor club, which opened only earlier this year, will come alive from 10 pm until 4 am for three nights a week. Sky 2.0 gets in line with the Design District’s theme of innovation with bendable screens, grand lighting design, and a lilting sound system wrapping the walls of the sphere-shaped venue. The unique interiors were designed by Chafic El Khazen and French architect Michelle Sarfati.
Offering panoramic views of Dubai’s skyline, Sky Bar was initially established in Beirut. Sky has played host to 2,500 guests every night since it launched in 2003. Beirut’s first outdoor restaurant-club also quickly became the Lebanese capital’s go-to party place, and has been visited by everyone from Nicole Scherzinger and Tinie Tempah to 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, and many more.
