As Merseyside team Liverpool took the Premier League trophy, Mo Salah‘s family joined him on the pitch at Anfield to celebrate.
The superstar proudly wore an Egyptian flag over his shoulder after winning the coveted trophy. But in true Salah style, it was not enough to simply enjoy the win with his teammates, as we have seen in the past, he loves nothing more than to have his wife and two children bask in the moment by his side on the pitch.
Regular supporters, they are often captured pitch-side but on this occasion, they were actually allowed on the field to hold the legendary trophy.
Clearly overwhelmed with pride, Salah soon took to his social channels to share a host of heart-warming images of he and his family amongst the team’s impressive host of silverware – including last season’s Champions League trophy.
Celebrations were at an all-time high as Liverpool claimed their first Premier League title since back in 1990. In a high-tension dual against Chelsea last week the team strode to victory as was expected by their sterling performances in the lead up to the final. Liverpool pipped Chelsea 5-3 to claim 18 out of 19 league matches at Anfield.
Fans gathered to watch the action on the big screen outside the stadium, as fireworks blew and the players congratulated one another. Salah was snapped sharing a moment of glory with the trophy in hand alongside teammates Jordan Henderson and Virgil van Dijk.
Once the flurry of excitement was over Salah was joined on the field by his family making for a magic moment and harking back to previous years when his daughter Makka was pictured on the pitch at the end of the 2018/19 season when she entertained the crowd by striking the ball into the back of the net.
Beaming from ear-to-ear, Salah takes the Premier League trophy and the title of proudest Dad to boot.
