Abu Dhabi‘s impressive theme park portfolio at Yas Island including Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, and Clymb will reopen this week in time for Eid celebrations.

Music to the ears of adventurous residents and excitable tourists who can now travel to the Emirates for their summer vacations, the parks will reopen their gates on July 29 after being closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic for the best part of four months.

These parks traditionally attract huge crowds which will now be managed of course to meet the new safety guidelines in place by the local authorities. One element of this will be a newly proposed pre-booking service where all visitors must book in advance. This will help the venues monitor numbers of guest and guest experiences whilst keeping them safe.

This also includes previous season pass holders. But there’s good news for anyone holding this pass for Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi in particular as the parks have decided to throw open the doors a day earlier on July 28 for annual pass-holders only.

Anyone who has been an annual pass holder will be granted an appropriate extension of their pass to cover any lost time when the venues were closed. This is a special thank you to them for their patience and loyalty throughout the pandemic of recent months.

In an ongoing effort to protect guests, biosecurity, health, safety, and hygiene levels have been significantly amped up. Other tweaks to ensure guest safety such as limited interaction with character meets, stage shows, and any other performances or attractions that would traditionally draw larger crowds have been paused for the time being.

All visitors are being asked to play their part in keeping themselves and others protected including the mandatory wearing of masks at all times, to regularly sanitize and wash their hands, and opt for contactless payment methods whenever possible.

Opening hours: Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi daily from 11am – 8pm. Clymb will be open daily from 11am – 9pm. Yas Waterworld, as with all waterparks in Abu Dhabi,  remain closed. Advance booking for all, including season pass holders, is essential.
